How-to
Connect Google
Signing up and connecting Google are the same step. What the consent box asks for, and what it does not.
There is no separate account to create
Sign in with Google. That is the account. Synora is a background service — there is no Synora app to install on desktop or mobile. After you connect, you keep adding tasks in Google Tasks and checking the day in Google Calendar.

Welcome to Synora

What Google asks for
The consent screen asks for four things: the list of calendars, the events on them, when you're busy, and your tasks. The boxes come up empty — they have to be ticked before anything works. Synora does not request Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or the full calendar scope.

What Synora may write
Synora only ever creates and edits the events it created itself. Existing meetings and events from other apps are never modified or deleted. Access is revocable at any time. Self-delete is available in the app. Data is stored in the EU.

Then the first due-dated task

Add your first task
Give it a due date in Google Tasks. That’s what Synora reads — then it becomes a calendar block.
