Guide · For builders
Nobody is waiting, so the important work loses.
Support, suppliers and admin always have a person attached. The roadmap doesn't. Here is the whole setup, step by step.

The day is full. You cannot name what moved.
Ops · fulfilment late morning. Onboarding · beta in the afternoon. Both have senders. Ship billing v1 does not, so it waits until the messages stop — which they don't. You end the day busy and the project is the same length it was at nine.

The roadmap has a deadline. It doesn't have a time.
Ship billing v1. Write changelog. Fix onboarding copy. Real work, sitting in a list that has no idea the morning already went to whoever emailed first. A due date tells you when something is late, not when you're doing it.

Signing up and connecting Google are the same step.
There's no separate account to create. Google asks for four things: the list of calendars, the events on them, when you're busy, and your tasks. No Gmail, no Drive, no contacts. The boxes come up empty — they have to be ticked before anything works.
Synora only ever creates and edits its own blocks. Existing events are never modified or deleted. A supplier call stays where it is.

Date the thing nobody is chasing.
Give the project task a due date in Google Tasks. No tags, no priority field, no working hours to configure — hours default to 08:00–22:00 and live in Planning if you want them different. Anything without a date stays a list item and Synora leaves it alone.

15:00 – 16:00
The project gets a morning. The rest keeps its senders.
Ops and onboarding sit where they were. Shipping billing takes the open morning, the changelog the midday gap, the copy the slot after the call. Synora reads task and event titles for context. Fifteen minutes sit between blocks.
Reactive work still arrives. Dated project work now has a defined slot, so it competes with whatever showed up this morning.

Correct a block. Don't rebuild the day.
Drag a block to a better time, or change how long it is, and Synora learns that preference for next time. Tick the task complete in Google Tasks and the matching calendar event updates on its own — it polls; it is not instant. Overnight, unfinished work rolls forward to the next day that has room. A meeting added after planning does not push existing blocks aside.
The list can stay where the project already is.
Google Tasks is connected by default and is the only source you need. If the work also sits in Todoist, Trello, Linear or Notion, those connect too and their due-dated items get scheduled the same way. Extra sources follow your plan — one on Pro, unlimited on Max.

You can name what moved.
The calls and admin are still there. So is a block with the project's name on it, on a morning, before the inbox opened the day. You date the work nobody chases. Synora places it around everything that has a sender. The list and the day stop being unrelated.
None of that needs a new habit beyond one due date per task. If you stop, Google Tasks and Google Calendar are still what they were.

Your own work has to compete with everything that has a sender. Pro is the full loop so the project actually gets a morning, plus one connector if the list isn't Google Tasks.

Questions
I have tried this before and stopped. Why would this be different?
There is nothing to keep up. Synora has no interface of its own. If you stop using it, you are still using Google Tasks and Google Calendar exactly as before.
My day is mostly reactive. Isn't scheduling pointless?
Reactive days are why planned work needs a defined slot — without one it never competes with whatever arrived this morning.
What happens to tasks with no due date?
Nothing. They stay in Google Tasks untouched. Only dated tasks are scheduled, so your list stays yours.
Can I stop it booking early mornings or weekends?
Move a block once to a time that works. Synora learns from the correction, rather than asking you to configure everything up front. Hours also live in Planning — they default to 08:00–22:00.
