Guide · For coaches
Your sessions have a time. The work around them never does.
The calendar looks full because clients booked it. Prep, notes and follow-ups wait until the evening, then until tomorrow. Here is the whole setup, step by step.

09:00 – 10:00
Session · Omar
14:00 – 15:00
The hours that earn already have a slot.
Session · Maya at nine. Session · Omar at two. The day looks committed, and it is — for the billable hour. The work that makes those sessions good has nowhere to sit, so it slides into the evening.

Prep has a deadline. It doesn't have a time.
Prep intake — Maya. Programme update — Lena. Session notes — Omar. Hours of work in a list that cannot see the gaps between sessions. A due date tells you when something is late, not when you're doing it.

Signing up and connecting Google are the same step.
There's no separate account to create. Google asks for four things: the list of calendars, the events on them, when you're busy, and your tasks. No Gmail, no Drive, no contacts. The boxes come up empty — they have to be ticked before anything works.
Synora only ever creates and edits its own blocks. Existing events are never modified or deleted, which is why booked sessions stay where the client put them.

Date the prep, not the session.
The session is already on the calendar. Add the work around it to Google Tasks with a due date. No tags, no priority field, no working hours to configure — hours default to 08:00–22:00 and live in Planning if you want them different. Anything without a date stays a list item and Synora leaves it alone.

The sessions stay. The gaps get used.
Maya and Omar sit exactly where they were. Prep lands before the session it belongs to, because Synora reads task and event titles for context. Notes take the afternoon gap. There are fifteen minutes between blocks, so a session running long doesn't take the next one with it.
A cancellation still opens time. Dated work is already queued for a gap, so the hour doesn't default to email.

Correct a block. Don't rebuild the day.
Drag a block to a better time, or change how long it is, and Synora learns that preference for next time. Tick the task complete in Google Tasks and the matching calendar event updates on its own — it polls; it is not instant. Overnight, unfinished work rolls forward to the next day that has room. A session added after planning does not push existing blocks aside.
Google Tasks is enough. Other lists plug in the same way.
Google Tasks is connected by default and is the only source you need. If prep also sits in Todoist, Trello, Linear or Notion, those connect too and their due-dated items get scheduled the same way. Extra sources follow your plan — one on Pro, unlimited on Max.

Notes get written while the session is still in the room.
The calendar still shows the sessions you sold. It also shows the work that used to wait until evening. You date the prep and the notes. Synora places them in the gaps. The evening is no longer overflow for a day that looked full and wasn't finished.
None of that needs a new habit beyond one due date per task. Sessions stay bookings. The work around them gets a time.

Questions
My bookings come from Calendly or Acuity. Does that work?
Yes, as long as the bookings land as timed events on your Google Calendar. Synora reads them in order to plan around them, and never edits them.
Do I need to add every session as a task?
No. Sessions are already on your calendar. You only add the work around them — prep, notes, follow-ups, admin — with a due date.
Can I keep certain hours free for clients?
Block them on your calendar the way you would any commitment. Synora treats that time as taken and places task work elsewhere.
Will Synora move a booked session?
No. Synora only ever creates and edits its own blocks. Existing events are never modified or deleted.
