Synora

Trust

Your events stay put.Synora writes its own.

Granting calendar access to a tool you've just met is a fair thing to hesitate over. Here is precisely what Synora reads, what it writes, and what it never asks for.

Calendar Safety

It only edits what it created

Your meetings, your events, your blocked time stay exactly as you left them. Synora only ever creates and edits its own blocks.

Security & Privacy

Read to plan. Write only our own

It reads your tasks, your free/busy time, and the calendars you connect — and writes only the events it created. It does not request Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or the full calendar scope.

How it works

You're already signed up.

  1. Welcome to Synora

Agree & sign up with Google

01 — Sign in with Google. There's no separate account to create. Signing up and connecting Google are the same step.

  2. Google
    • Google Calendar
    • Google Tasks

02 — Confirm what Google asks for. The consent screen asks for four things: the list of calendars, the events on them, when you're busy, and your tasks.

  3. My Tasks
    Draft proposal — NorthwindToday

03 — Give the first task a due date. After Google is connected, onboarding goes straight to the first due-dated task. Hours default to 08:00–22:00.

  4. Calendar

    Draft proposal — Northwind

    10:45 – 12:00

04 — Open Google Calendar. That's it — opening your calendar and looking at it. The due-dated task is already a block.

  5. Google Tasks
    Google Calendar

05 — It stays in the background. No dashboard, no weekly review, no second system. You add tasks in Google Tasks and look at Google Calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Could Synora technically change my events?

Google's calendar permission covers your calendar as a whole; there isn't a narrower one to request. Synora is built to only ever touch its own blocks. If you'd rather verify than trust, revoke access from your Google account at any time.

What data does Synora access?

Your Google Tasks, busy intervals across the calendars you grant, and event titles on your primary calendar. Nothing else. Writing is limited to its own blocks on your primary calendar.

Where is my data stored, and can I delete it?

In the EU. Revoke access from your Google account at any time, and delete your data from inside Synora. It is never sold and never used for ads.

What if I move one of Synora's blocks?

It stays where you put it, and Synora learns from the change.

Do all-day events protect a day?

Yes. An all-day event blocks the work window that day. Timed events are respected as they are.
